"I See the Holocaust"
As I'm pushed and shoved of the train,
I see sunken eyes all around me,
Barely looking up to see.
I see sunken bodies,
Broken through work and hunger.
I see sunken spirits,
Broken through torture.
I see broken people,
I see my fate,
I see my demise.
I hear soldier's yells, gunshots, threatens, cries and screams,
I see my demise.
I smell rotten flesh, fear, sweat and vomit,
I see my demise.
Why are they doing this?
What have we done?
I am now like the others, gaunt and beaten.
I am now like the others, sunken and broken.
Crying and screaming we are lined up.
I witness my demise.
