As you toured this module you met six survivors. There is much
to learn by considering how they survived. Each had
a different
experience to share, and you discovered some of the ways in
which they survived. Although you can begin to build
an understanding
of how survivors remained alive here, it is necessary to point
out that you should not form generalizations about all
survivors
from such a small number. If you wish to learn more about this
topic, delve deeper. Read about the the Holocaust, tour "HopeSite"
(http://www.hopesite.ca) or other Internet
resources. Most importantly, seek to learn more about other
individuals who faced the Holocaust and survived. And, if you
learn something new, share it here (To find
out how, see below).
In the beginning of this module you were asked to list (or
e-mail to yourself) the ways in which you thought a person
could survive the Holocaust. Now that we are at the end of this
module, there are questions we invite you to ask yourself. Doing
this will help you to integrate what you learned in this module
into your own thinking.
